Manistique Merchants Car Show

Attention Michigan car owners. The Michigan House is considering House Bill No. 5897. One of the provisions is to change the fee structure on plates for older cars. The change would move from what we have now, 15 years for a historic plate or life time for a year of manufacture plate, to an annual fee. We encourage you to write your legislators and ask them remove this portion of the bill. To view the House Bill, click here.

The 2010 Manistique Merchants Car Show will be Saturday, September 4th, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Kewadin Car Show will be Friday, September 3rd.

This is it. The car show with a difference. Manistique Merchants proudly present their annual Manistique Merchants Car Show.

The weekend kicks off with the Friday Night Kewadin Car Show on Friday from 3:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Kewadin Casino on US 2 East. Everyone is welcome. Trophies and prizes will be awarded

On Saturday the downtown is closed off and registration begins at 8:00 a.m. The first 180 Car Show registrants receive dash plaques commemorating their participation and Kewadin Casino packages.

Every year we have a large and varied collection of autos on display.

Kids can enter the tractor pull. Pedal power to the max!

We have a contest to see how long a car will run with the oil removed.

There are several food booths; the highlight being the Chicken BarBQ.

An additional plus for the Car Show attendees is the Arts and Craft Fair which will be held in Triangle Park. There will be many booths for your shopping pleasure.
